The Gladsaxe Archery Club was created in 1957, the first chairman was Benny Sørensen. One started shooting indoors in the cellar of the school
at the street called Tobaksvejen, and outdoors at the soccer fields in Emdrup. The Gladsaxe Archery Club had for many years shared sport fields,
material and activities with the telephone factory at Automaticvej until this closed in 1990.
